Trump’s Approval Low, Inner Circle is Well-Known and Disliked
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Protect the Investigation released a new memo with findings from a new survey focused on Americans’ opinions of the special counsel investigation, public knowledge and understanding of the criminal charge found thus far.
The new research, conducted before Roger Stone’s arrest, finds that President Trump is weak and his inner-circle has a badly damaged image among Americans. The special counsel investigation, however, is positively described by most and is seen as being led by non-partisan law enforcement officials than feel it is a “partisan witch hunt.”
This memo reflects the findings of 1,500 registered voters nationwide. The survey was conducted by GBA Strategies on behalf of Protect the Investigation between January 18-21, 2019 via an online panel matched to the Catalist voter file. The margin of error for the full sample is +/- 2.6 percentage points at the 95 percent confidence level.
